Our quality management system has been tested and approved by the most demanding standards authorities, including those aspects specific to the manned guarding and associated services industry. We are also accredited to the OHSAS 18001 standard.

This is a new benchmarking system, which has been developed to be compatible with the ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environmental) management systems standards, in order to facilitate the integration of quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems and organisations.

SIA Licensing

In 2001 the Private Security Industry Act received Royal Assent. This created the Security Industry Authority (SIA). The remit of the authority is to work collaboratively with the private security industry, the police, Government and British industry to raise the quality and effectiveness of security supply to meet the increasing demands.

From early 2005 licensing arrangements commence, and from early 2006, it will be a criminal offence to operate or supply security without an SIA license. For individual to qualify for a license every individual must meet demanding criteria. These include a criminality check through the Criminal Records Bureau and the evidencing that they have the skills to undertake the role by successfully achieving SIA accredited qualifications.
