Each guard employed by First Capital Security goes through a rigorous selection programme.

A Skills Overview - to eliminate all but the best applicants
An Employment Status Check – to keep on the right side of the law
A Formal Interview – with one of our qualified and experienced managers
An Aptitude Test – to ensure that the applicants can “walk the walk” as well as “talk the talk”
A Full Reference Check – A 10 year history vetting procedure in accordance with BS 7858 standards
Take the SITO approved test and achieve a minimum of 95% pass mark

Then with a programme of training and retraining every 6 months you can be sure that the team of guards securing your business are the very height of their game.

What standard have you met?

Our quality management system has been tested and approved by the most demanding standards authorities, including those aspects specific to the manned guarding and associated services industry. We are also accredited to the OHSAS 18001 standard. This is a new benchmarking system, which has been developed to be compatible with the ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environmental) management systems standards, in order to facilitate the integration of quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems and organisations.

What geographical areas do you cover?

We cover London and Home counties; we will be there when you need us. There is no job that is too small, too big, or too far away.

Are your security officers vetted and licensed?

Yes, all of our security officer are fully vetted and licensed professional, approved by SIA (Security Industry authority)

Are you ACS approved?

Yes, we are members of the Approved Contractor Scheme. The Private Security Industry Act 2001 requires the SIA to establish a "system of inspection for providers of security services, under which those organisations who satisfactorily meet the agreed standards may be registered as approved, and may advertise themselves as such".

What happens if you need to be contacted at night?

First Capital Security operate a 24/7 Control and Communication Centre where you can call us at any time, day or night, weekday or weekend. We use the very latest digital technology in training, tracking, and dispatching of personnel. However, nothing could replace the personal contact with the client and the relationship of trust that builds in time.
